  • Designed accessible, intuitive landing pages for various departments, receiving praise for speed and quality of creative from internal clients while meeting AODA and WCAG standards.
  • Worked with content and marketing teams to update webpage and completed requests within schedule or earlier.
  • Assisted design and content teams with building component libraries in Adobe XD and documenting design standards.
  • Collaborated with developers to create and organize Google Analytics event tracking tags which improved the team’s insights into user journeys by tracking their use of navigational elements.

  • Created content for social media which included photography, videography, visual design, motion graphics, copywriting, and scheduling. This led to an increase in post engagement and follower count.
  • Collaborated with leadership and marketing team to build the department’s social media strategy. Also led a team of social media representatives from multiple community centres. This improved the visibility of their offerings and engagement with the local community.
  • Developed the department’s social media standards guide with input from leadership and staff. It made emergency messaging more efficient and consistent. Plus, it made onboarding new social media team members easier.
  • Provided art direction to photographers and videographers thus improving the quality of the department’s library of photo and video assets while keeping true to the brand.
  • Managed and mentored the internal photo/video team who produced a variety of content for the marketing channels.
  • Developed the asset library strategy with assistance from the IT team and led the internal photo and video team on its implementation. The newly organized library made creative collaborations between the marketing team and other departments and third-party providers more efficient.
  • Designed email marketing campaigns, managed mailing lists, and developed CASL compliant strategies in collaboration with the City legal team and third-party vendor. This work influenced other departments’ email marketing implementations, and I also consulted on their email marketing projects thus reducing onboarding and project timelines.
  • Consulted on analytics and reported findings to the marketing team and department leadership. Provided insights and recommendations for current and upcoming marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Managed relationships and budgets for various third-party vendors. Ensuring smooth delivery of services.
