Golf instructional videos


The project
Establish the golf team’s expertise by sharing golf tips and expand social media content offerings.
The concept
The golf team was fairly new to social media and while the usual posts pushing their services was fine for some campaigns. I wanted to add variety into the content mix.
The team was stacked with professionals that had a deep knowledge of the game and it’s nuances. Unfortunately not a lot of people outside of the golf course knew about their expertise. This presented an opportunity to both expand the golf team’s content offerings while at the same time establishing themselves as subject matter experts in the game.
This was the catalyst to start filming short form golf instructional videos that can be easily digested by the audience on a variety of social media channels and devices. First shot and edited by myself, I added an extra shooter later on to cut down on production time while increasing output. Eventually forming a library that added prestige and notoriety to the golf team and the course while giving viewers new content to consume. Thus growing the channel and leading viewers onto the website in the hopes of increasing course bookings.
